She was also a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the Community Development Clinic, where she represented a local non-profit community association in a neighborhood facing redevelopment. Lauri is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Section of Real Property, Planning and Zoning, the Maryland Building Industry Association, the Professional Women in Building Council and the Community Associations Institute.
