Based in Columbia, Maryland, Erin K. Voss is a principal at Nagle & Zaller, P.C. Throughout her career, Ms. Voss has focused her practice on civil and personal injury litigation with an emphasis on negligence and motor vehicle accidents. She has substantial experience handling toxic tort cases, including property damage, groundwater contamination, environmental pollution, product liability and pharmaceuticals.
As a trial attorney, Ms. Voss has secured millions in damages on behalf of her personal injury clients. Notable victories include a $4 million compensation award in a groundwater contamination and property damage case and a $200,000 settlement in a medical malpractice case that did not cause permanent injury. In 2010, she was part of the trial team that won $34.3 million in damages for carbon monoxide poisoning suffered by her clients who were exposed while working at a downtown Baltimore restaurant. Before joining Nagle & Zaller, P.C., Ms. Voss was an associate at a well-known Baltimore litigation firm.
After graduating with a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Southern Illinois University in 2000, Ms. Voss went on to attend the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2005. While in law school, she received an award for her charitable human rights work and was the captain of the American Association for Justice Student Trial Team, and she continues to participate in student trial teams and advocacy programs as an adjunct faculty member at her law school alma mater. Ms. Voss was also a student attorney with the Saul Ewing Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she represented clients who could not otherwise afford the services of a lawyer. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, Illinois and the District of Columbia.
