Zinnaeah D. Johnson

Zinnaeah joined Nagle & Zaller, P.C. in August 2009, as an Associate.
Experience:
Zinnaeah clerked for the Honorable Marcella A. Holland, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. In that position, she assisted in a wide range of civil litigation, for both bench and jury trials, as well as assisted with the Court’s extensive Motions docket.
Since joining Nagle & Zaller, P.C.,:
Zinnaeah regularly practices in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland, where she has recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars in attorney’s fees for clients. She has also successfully briefed and argued cases in the Court of Appeals and Court of Special Appeals.
Zinnaeah is a native of Baltimore. She is a 2004 graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where she majored in Finance. In 2008, Zinnaeah graduated from the University of Baltimore, School of Law. While in law school, Zinnaeah was a regional semi-finalist and finalist in both the Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition and the American Bar Association Client Counseling Competition, and a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she represented indigent clients in Maryland state courts and administrative agencies. Zinnaeah was also a student leader serving on the executive board of the Real Estate Law Association, the Black Law Student Association, and as a student member of the Baltimore Scholars Program.
Licensure:
Zinnaeah is licensed to practice law in Maryland, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Zinnaeah is actively involved in community service, frequently volunteering with local organizations providing assistance to veterans, schools, and the homeless.
