P. Hong Le

Experience:

Hong joined Nagle & Zaller in September, 2009, as an associate attorney. Since joining the firm, Hong regularly appears in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia, primarily representing community associations in assessment collection and covenant violation matters.  Hong also assists communities with the drafting of resolutions, declaration and bylaw amendments, opinion letters and contract review.  He has also assisted in appellate matters before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and Court of Appeals in Maryland.

Hong has won a multitude of covenant enforcement cases and he has obtained judgments and awards of attorney’s fees on behalf of community associations throughout the District of Columbia and Maryland.

Before Private Practice:

Hong came to Nagle & Zaller, P.C. after clerking for the Honorable M. Brooke Murdock of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.  He also interned with the Honorable H. Patrick Stringer, Jr. of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.  As a judicial law clerk, Mr. Le drafted opinions and researched a variety of legal issues with focuses on civil and domestic litigation, giving him an insider’s glance at how judge’s in Maryland Circuit Courts decide legal matter before them.

Hong is a native of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.  He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2002 where majored in Criminology and Psychology.  He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 2008 and graduated, where he graduated cum laude.

While in law school, Hong was an associate editor for the school’s International Law Journal and was a member of the Human Rights Moot Court Team.  He served as a Rule
16 Student Attorney with the Family Law Clinic and he was also a Fellow of the Stephen L. Snyder Center for Litigation Skills.

Licensure:

Hong is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

In his free time, Hong enjoys spending time with his wife, playing sports and traveling.
