Kelly B. Crockett

Kelly joined Nagle & Zaller in June, 2007, as an associate attorney. After relocating with her husband to Massachusetts for a period of time, she returned with her family to Maryland and to Nagle & Zaller in 2013.

Experience:

Kelly represents clients in the areas of community association law, construction law, civil litigation, real estate, land use, corporate law, contract law, commercial law and creditors' rights/collections. Kelly has extensive experience handling Maryland foreclosures and Sheriff's sales. She assists clients in advising them of their rights as creditors and guides them through the collection process. She also assists communities with the drafting of declaration and bylaw amendments, resolutions, and legal opinion letters.

Before Private Practice:

Prior to joining Nagle & Zaller, Kelly worked for almost a decade in the banking industry and has extensive experience in loans, mortgages, investment sales, transactional and compliance audit procedures. She was a paralegal for a large Bethesda, Maryland firm, working in their Banking and Loan division, and has also provided independent document review services for various Northern Virginia law firms.

Aside from her brief relocation to Massachusetts, Kelly is a life-long resident of Maryland. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where she double-majored in Political Science and Criminology. In 2005, she received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. As a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the University of Baltimore School of Law's Tax Law Clinic, she represented clients before the U.S. Tax Court and worked with the IRS to settle their claims.

Kelly is licensed to practice law in Maryland.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters, traveling, and reading.
