I am a life-long resident of Baltimore. In 2011, I graduated from Towson University Honors College, cum laude, with a B.S. in Economics. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, summa cum laude, and was inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society. I was admitted to the Maryland Bar the same year. While in law school, I interned for the Honorable Shirley M. Watts in the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland and the Honorable Paul W. Grimm in the Federal District Court for the District of Maryland. I participated in the Civil Advocacy Clinic as a Rule 16 student attorney where I represented low-income clients in a variety of matters in the District Court for Baltimore City. I also worked as a law clerk at Civil Justice, Inc., a Baltimore foreclosure defense firm, and Marsden and Seledee, LLC, a Baltimore commercial litigation and commercial collections firm. I was a member of the University of Baltimore Law Review and served as a research assistant to Professor Jamie Alison Lee for an article published in the Harvard Journal of Law and Policy.

In addition to work and classes, I volunteered at the Sayra and Neil Meyerhoff Center for Families, Children and the Courts. Upon graduation, I clerked for the Honorable Michael J. Finifter in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County where I assisted in the drafting of opinions for civil, criminal, and administrative cases, including complex business and technology matters. In my free time, I enjoy playing blues guitar, carpentry, reading, and watching the Baltimore Orioles.
